Input formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIFOutput formats: WebP, AVIF, JPEG, PNGWebP is the recommended output format for web use. It delivers the best balance of file size reduction and browser compatibility for most projects. AVIF can achieve smaller files but takes longer to process.
You can upload and process up to 20 images per batch, with a maximum of 20 MB per file. There is no limit on how many batches you can run — each batch simply counts against your monthly compression allowance based on your plan.
Fluximage defaults to a quality level of 82, which is visually indistinguishable from the original for the vast majority of web images. You can adjust quality anywhere between 40 and 100 before running a batch.
  • 40–60: Noticeable quality loss, smallest file sizes — useful for thumbnails
  • 70–85: Recommended range for web images; minimal visible difference
  • 86–100: Near-lossless; larger files with imperceptible improvement for most use cases
Yes. Fluximage automatically reads the rotation flag from your image’s EXIF metadata and corrects the orientation before compressing. The output image will display correctly regardless of how the original was captured or stored.
When you enable Generate smart alt text, Fluximage analyzes each image and writes an SEO-optimized, descriptive alt text string of up to 80 characters. You can improve the output by providing:
  • Context — a short description of what the images are for (for example, “product photos for a running shoe store”)
  • Keywords — terms you want prioritized in the alt text
AI alt text requires a paid plan (Starter or higher) and consumes one AI credit per image.
One AI credit is consumed per image that uses any AI feature during a batch — regardless of whether you enable alt text, SEO rename, or both at the same time.In other words:
  • Alt text only → 1 credit per image
  • SEO rename only → 1 credit per image
  • Alt text + SEO rename together → still 1 credit per image
Watermarking does not use AI credits. It is a non-AI feature available on all paid plans.
Monthly included credits do not roll over. Any unused credits from your plan are reset when your billing period renews. However, credits you purchase as a top-up never expire. They sit in your account until you use them, and they are drawn on only after your monthly included credits run out.
Watermarking is available on Starter, Pro, and Agency plans. It is not available on the Free plan. You can upload any PNG image as a watermark, then control its scale, opacity, and position (9 grid positions) before running a batch.
Authorized domains are domains you whitelist for the upcoming WordPress plugin integration. Once the plugin launches, Fluximage will only serve optimized images to requests originating from your authorized domains. The number of authorized domains you can add depends on your plan:

Yes, API access is available on the Agency plan. Your API key is available from the Settings → API keys page in the dashboard.Include your key in every request using the Authorization header:
Authorization: Bearer flx_live_your_key_here
See the API reference for full endpoint documentation and code examples.
After processing, each compressed image gets its own signed download URL. From the results table you can:
  • Click any individual image to download it on its own
  • Click Download all to get a ZIP archive of the entire batch
Signed URLs are valid for 24 hours. After that, re-process the batch to get fresh links.
Your files are stored temporarily on secure cloud storage and are accessible via signed URLs for 24 hours after processing. After that window, the files are no longer accessible.Your images are never used to train AI models, and they are not shared with third parties.
